The Kane Family having lunch at Prestige Diner

A PORTION TO ST. ANDREW’S — On
Saturday, Nov. 14, the Kane family of Berkeley
Heights enjoyed lunch at the Prestige Diner,
at 1318 Springfield Ave. in New Providence,
as part of a school fundraiser for St. Andrew’s Nursery School.

Whenever customers mentioned the school that day, Jimmy and Harry Vardas, co-owners of the diner, made a donation to the school from their proceeds. Seated at the lunch table with two-year-old St. Andrew’s student Jack Kane are his parents Sean and Elizabeth.

Standing are Jimmy and Harry Vardas with Favi Aparicio all of the Prestige Diner. The Prestige has been family-owned for more than 30 years. St. Andrew’s Nursery School and Kindergarten, at 419 South St., New Providence, encourages children to develop a positive self-image, confidence and a love of learning.
